Vivian Avenue Cookery is the birthplace of a love affair with food where we combine Sri-Lankan heritage, British upbringing and an innate curiosity about clean eating.

Vivian Avenue Cookery celebrates creative, healthy and plant-based approaches to food, cooking, eating and socialising.  Our ethos is 90% whole, natural food and 10% not!

We are an inclusive brand committed to appealing to the most ardent meat-eater right through to the most dedicated vegan. 

We value non-judgement, compassion and karma-free food.

“My Dad spent many a long, hot summer and many a long, bitter winter growing and harvesting fresh, organic produce. He was a pioneer of the modern-day box scheme , often sharing an abundant crop with friends and neighbours but at no cost to them. The rest my Mum would cook up into beautiful dishes fragrant with her Sri Lankan heritage but always nodding in some way to our home in England. This is where my love of food began.”

Vivian Avenue Cookery advocates wholesome eating, good health, nourishment and a better world for all - human beings, animals and society. Our recipes are built on plant-based principles and celebrate as much natural produce as possible - fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains.

We have fun, enjoy cooking, relish eating and celebrate communing with our loved ones.
